I'm 20 weeks! (Half way there!!!)
Pregnancy Highlights:
How Far Along: 20 Weeks
Size of baby: Baby Turrentine is the size of a banana
Total Weight Gain/Loss: Gained 1 lb maybe… I never ask at the dr but at home I haven’t seen a big change. Maybe it’s 2 by now.
Maternity Clothes: Mix of regular and maternity
Gender: It's a girl!!! Of course we had hoped for a boy but we are thankful she is healthy and blessed to be having another precious daughter to love and spoil!
Movement: She moves around a lot. I feel her when I am working over my desk just kicking and wiggling. Tyler has gotten to feel her a few times. He is not patient enough to wait for her to kick.
Sleep: I am having LOTS of insomnia! Last night I took some Children’s Benadryl and was able to sleep through the night. I am really hoping this is just a phase!
What I miss: My Miss Me Jeans… lol! Or at least being able to button them and be comfortable!
Cravings: It varies. Sometimes I want sweet other times I don’t. I have been eating a TON of Albert’s Hot Sauce and multi-grain Tostitos. Yum!
Symptons: I have had some middle back pain and some discomfort when I walk for long periods of time but that is about it!
Best Moment this week: Seeing our baby on the ultrasound and being told she looked perfect! We are so thankful she is healthy! Now it’s just time to figure out what our little princess will be called!

Teaching
This year I made the move from 3rd grade teacher to Jr. High Special Ed. teacher. This job is WAY different from what I am used to but I know God tailor made it for me. It is very low key and I rarely work with more than 3-4 kids at a time... sometimes I only work with 1 kid a day! It gets pretty slow and boring and it has a lot of paperwork associated with it but I know it is going to be such a blessing for me and this little one! I am REALLY hoping I do not get put on bed rest with this pregnancy so this job is awesome!
Today however, I went and filled in for a teacher last period teaching sixth grade math! It was so much fun! I truly miss teaching in a classroom. They were loud and obnoxious and tried to ignore everything I said.... SO FUN! I loved getting to use my classroom management skills and just get to teach to a group of kids! It only took about 5 minutes for them to figure me out (again, since I have taught or worked with most of them) and we just had a great time!
While I enjoyed the oppertunity it reminded me how great I've got it this year because my stress level is soooo much lower with my current position! God knows what he is doing!

18 weeks
I need to be a better blogger! I have no time! ;) I want to try and remember my pregnancy though so I thought I'd do weekly updates from here on out since stuff is starting to happen!! Weeks 1-15 consisted of learning I was preggo and dealing with morning sickness! 15-18 have been pretty good though!
I'm 18 weeks today!
Pregnancy Highlights:
How Far Along: 18 Weeks
Size of baby: Baby Turrentine is the length of a bell pepper!
Total Weight Gain/Loss: Nothing yet! J
Maternity Clothes: Some maternity clothes and some regular clothes! I invested in a belly band so I can keep wearing my Miss Me Jeans! Most tops are still regular tops though!
Gender: Can't wait to find out! 2 more weeks and we should know! Both the pencil and the ring test say IT’S A BOY! We shall see though!
Movement: I feel kicks and wiggles every day now. The other morning I had Tyler lay his hand on my stomach and he could feel the baby as I shifted it back and forth!
Sleep: I sleep ok for now… I wake up several times a night but I am always tired!
What I miss: Not much really! I feel so blessed to be in this moment one last time!
Cravings: It changes daily… I haven’t seriously craved anything yet!
Symptons: Morning sickness is GONE! It is such a great feeling! I have some pressure in my stomach and occasionally my back hurts but for the most part I feel the best I have all pregnancy long!

Not a good blogger
It may come as a shock... haha.... but I am a terrible blogger! I just never stop long enough to get a blog out! I don't want to only blog about my life and daily stuff but I want to share my faith with others as well. Lately I just haven't had the words or the time. Lame excuse but its mine none the less. Taylor has been busy with dance and school and I am preparing to start teaching piano lessons! I am both excited and scared to take this on but I believe God gave me this oppertunity so I am taking it! We are getting ready for Disney World in just a few more months and I am just SO excited! Of course, once that trip is over we will have to face the decision of children again. The past 5 months of not worrying or trying has been so wonderful. I didn't get the magic results of popping up pregnant but I am a happier person, a less stressed out person, and I am a better wife and Momma since that burden is gone! A small part of me is not excited about going through the stress again but we will be trying Chlomid for only 3 months so once that is done then so are we. If it works, all praise will go to God. If it does not work, we will praise Him for knowing better than us what we need and we will have two of the most spoiled rotten and indulged daughters you could ask for. Speaking of my little darlings, they participated in our school coronation a few weeks back. This is a big deal and everyone gets all dressed up and the girls get to pick a boy to escort them. Taylor was chosen from her class and she picked the little boy that she "likes!" Addyson was chosen to be a crown bearer as well! Below are a few pictures from that night!

Snow Day
It has been a LONG time since I posted but life has a way of preventing you from doing any "extra" things like this!
We have been super busy. Taylor hasw been involved in cheering, dance, UIL, and just school. She loved cheering, she is in three dance classes and is on a competition team that is getting to dance at DISNEY WORLD in June. She competed in two events for UIL and placed 2nd in one and 5th in the other with a 2nd place overall with her team. She's still a straight A student and doing great!
Addyson is just two weeks from her 3rd birthday. I had been planning a Fancy Nancy birthday party for months but she changed her mind and wants a John Deere tractor party instead. So I found the cutest John Deere pattern and through Etsy found cute stuff to match it so we are set!
So, why does my blog post say Snow Day?? In Texas no less??? Yep! It snowed a whole inch yesterday and the roads are a little icy so basically every school in the area closed! I am thrilled to have an extra day to hang with my kids (who are NOT and I repeat NOT already driving me crazy!) and to catch up on some odds and ends of things (like blogging).
In our lives nothing really has changed. Since the Disney trip came up the baby plans went on hold. I did not want to be preggo at Disney and not get to fully enjoy it. So we will start on meds in June and try for three months. At that point we will be done. We both decided we wanted to make the decision for ourselves and not have a dr say its not an option. I have several months to get ok with this and above all I am just trusting that God has a plan and He has it under control!
Now for a couple pics from our snowy day fun!

Summer Fun
Even though we didn't vacation this year we have had lots of fun! Tyler and I have had several mini getaways and the girls and I have seen every kid movie and hit most of the good kid spots over the summer. Last Thursday, we stumbled across a Pottery Cafe. I have always wanted to do this and never gotten around to it. I was so impressed with this place and its laid back, do your thing attitude. My mom and I and the girls each got a piece of pottery to paint and we had a blast. It took awhile so of course Addyson got bored but she still did a good job painting her creation and she liked to look at all the things they had. We all agreed that this will be a new favorite place and we will be doing it again for sure!!
Addyson starting to paint.. she painted her box, her arm, her cheek, her teeth!!
Taylor being a little artist... she worked super hard on her box!
Mom and Taylor with their pottery!
Addyson and I with our pottery!
Our art work!
On a totally seperate note, although it still falls in my blog title of summer fun, check out this picture Taylor took at the house. She used our old plain jane camera for this. I did edit the colors to make them stand out more but that is all I did. She has an eye for photography and this is not the first "wow" shot she has done but I sure am impressed with this!

Never have time
I just never slow down enough to blog. It seems lately when I do slow down I am too tired to do anything. So all is well with us! We are still alive!! I start back to school next week and Taylor starts the week after. We are still trying to get pregnant for a few more months. Hopefully that is in God's plan for us. We are strong in our faith but it still gets grueling at times. So.. hear are some pictures of what we have been up to since I am a lousy blogger. Sigh.....
